Dr Qinzhuo Liao

Dr. Qinzhuo Liao is an Associate Professor in College of Petroleum Engineering at China University of Petroleum-Beijing (CUPB) since 2022. He was an Assistant Professor at Department of Petroleum Engineering, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) from 2017 to 2021. He was a postdoctoral researcher in Stanford University and Peking University from 2015 to 2017. He received his Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Southern California in 2014 and his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Peking University in 2009. His research interests include computational methods for flow and transport in porous media, upscaling and machine learning.
