Her work focuses on strengthening carbon-credit integrity, digital measurement, reporting and verification (MRV), environmental asset tracking, and market access for smallholder farmers. She is particularly interested in inclusive approaches that safeguard land tenure, data protection, free, prior and informed consent, and women’s participation in climate and natural-resource initiatives. Hannah’s current research explores integrated digital systems that reduce verification costs while supporting deforestation-free supply chains, ESG compliance, and equitable benefit-sharing for farming communities in Africa.
