Biography :

Nena Polychronidou is Head of Operations & Corporate Business Development at Faria Renewables, where she leads corporate business development, ESG strategy, market expansion, and strategic communication initiatives. Her professional interests focus on renewable energy, sustainable business development, ESG integration, stakeholder management, and the strategic challenges of emerging energy markets. She also brings expertise in negotiation and dispute resolution as an accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator and Certified Family Mediator. She holds an MBA from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a final grade of 8.67/10, and a Diploma in Journalism & Communication Science from the same university, graduating with a grade of 8.07/10. Her multidisciplinary academic background combines business strategy, communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation, supporting her work at the intersection of business development, corporate operations, and sustainable growth. Throughout her career, Nena has held senior roles in renewable energy, franchising, infrastructure, healthcare, and corporate operations. Her achievements include leading market expansion initiatives in Greece and Germany, supporting the integration of ESG principles into business operations, contributing to major infrastructure-related stakeholder and community initiatives through the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, and leading international business and operational projects. In 2024, she also participated as a speaker in the EU-funded “Unity in Diversity” workshop in Milan, addressing community engagement and equality.
